Robert Borella

Robert B. Borella, age 90, passed away on December 24, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on February 28, 1935, in the Bronx, New York, to Harold and Lilly Borella.

Robert attended Baruch College, where he studied accounting and later obtained his CPA license. He proudly served in the United States Army before starting his own accounting business. His work was more than a career - it was a lifelong commitment. He remained dedicated to his clients and continued working up until the time of his passing. Known for his integrity, loyalty, and tireless work ethic, Robert built lasting relationships and earned the trust and respect of those he served.

A lifelong New York sports fan, Robert found great joy in cheering on his favorite teams - the Mets, the Knicks, and the Giants. Whether watching a game at home or following the season closely, his passion for New York sports was a source of enjoyment and connection with family and friends.

He is survived by his two children, Christopher (Jennifer) Borella and Robert H. Borella, as well as his two loving grandchildren, Matthew and Michael, who were a great source of pride and joy in his life.

He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Christina, and his brothers, Raymond and Leonard.

Robert showed his love not through grand gestures, but by always being there. He never missed the moments that mattered most - birthdays, graduations, and countless baseball and basketball games spent cheering on his grandchildren. His quiet devotion, steady presence, and unconditional love will live on in the hearts of his family. He will be deeply missed.
