Robert Boshart Obituary
Steve was born in Jersey City, New Jersey on June 8th 1940 and is survived by his loving wife Bonnie Ann Boshart and his Doberman Pinchers Abbi and Cayman of the home, son Steven Boshart (Martha), Drew Boshart (Carina), grandchildren Kaleigh, Adam, Daniel, Nicholas, Lukas, and Emma Boshart.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Dorothy Boshart, sister Susan and a grandson Thomas.
He retired from the West Milford Police Department in 1993 after many years as a police detective and promptly moved down south to escape the harsh Jersey winters.
He will be remembered for his great love of the ocean and any creature great or small. He much preferred the company of animals over those of the human variety. Many stories can be told of his adventures with his dogs at his side.
We will honor his request with no elaborate service and instead hold a private family gathering to celebrate his life.
