Robert Bradshaw, 78, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, June 18,2022 at his residence in Versailles. He was born in Georgetown, Kentucky on July 15,1943 to the late David Broadham and Mary Elizabeth Bell Bradshaw. Robert was a devoted member and deacon of Historic Midway Second Christian Church, where he cleaned the sanctuary weekly, kept the lawn groomed, sang in the choir, he loved to sing, he retired form the University of Kentucky after 36 years of service.
Robert was a man with many talents, and a huge heart. He would do anything he could to help anyone in need. He was a master auto mechanic, fisherman, a former fireman in Midway, and avid fan of the University of Kentucky sports.
In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his first wife, Carol Washington Bradshaw, daughter, Eleanor Washington, granddaughter, Oquana Washington, brothers, Howard Bradshaw, David Bradshaw, and Frank Bradshaw.
Robert will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Karen Michalski Bradshaw, his loving children, Carolyn Cole (George), Robert William Bradshaw, Jr. (Bobby), grandchildren, Kimberly Bradshaw, Kamille Kitchen (Roy), George 'Moe Moe' Cole, IV, Latrice Bradshaw, and Shonda Bradshaw, ten great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren, siblings, Charles Bradshaw, Mary Bradshaw, Claire Bradshaw, Herbert Bradshaw, Richard Bradshaw, Charlotte Holman, Louise Stone (George), Aunt Alice Dalmer, a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm on July 2, 2022 at Midway Christian Church. Burial will follow at Midway Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the time of service. Family and friends are encouraged to share memories and leave messages of condolence on Robert's wall.
