Robert Busch Obituary

Robert Lee Busch, 85, of Upton, passed away Monday, Aug. 18, 2025, at his home.

He was born in Louisville to Robert and Eva Dhonau Busch. He was a maintenance man for the American Red Cross. Robert achieved the rank of Star in the Boy Scouts of America and he loved to restore boats and be out on the water.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, whom he loved tremendously, Debra Ellen Busch; and a son, Kenneth Busch.

Survivors include his two loving sons, Clay (Dexter) Eaton of Lithonia, Georgia, and Stephen (Tabitha) Eaton of Upton; a daughter, Sandra Graham of Upton; 10 grandchildren, Joshua Terry, Jamie Terry, Blake McGonigle, Kaylee Eaton, Ashton Burris, Riley Eaton, Madison Eaton, David Brown, Kayden Eaton, Jaxon Eaton; and six great-grandchildren.

The funeral is at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 22, at Manakee Funeral Home in Upton with the Rev. Bruce Underhill officiating. Burial follows in Sonora Cemetery.

Visitation is from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday and continues from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
