Robert Bussone Obituary

A lifelong Beverly resident, Robert attended Beverly High School. He was a veteran of WWII having served in the Army Air Force. He had a varied career working as a Meatcutter at Art's Meat Mart and later as a Raw- Stockbroker for Garner Booth, Inc. until his retirement with Pittard's, Inc. in Peabody. He was a member and past president of the Italian Community Center.
Robert is survived by his daughters, Christine Eves, Nancy Colella and her husband John, his son Robert Bussone Jr. and his wife Cheryl, his sisters, Antoinette Kemer and Jennie McKenzie. He was the caring grandfather to five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. In addition to his wife and parents, Robert was preceded in death by his daughter Sandra Bussone and his nine siblings.
Funeral services for Robert are private. Contributions may be made in Roberts's memory to Care Dimensions, 75 Sylvan Street, Suite B-102, Danvers, MA 01923. Arrangements by the Campbell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot Street, Beverly. Information, directions, condolences at www.campbellfuneral.com.

I worked with Bob at Arts Met Mart. He became a mentor to me. Later on with Sophie and some times Christine we would take trips to Atlantic City and Foxwoods. Bob was a solid friend and will be missed by many. A member of the Greatest Generation..
