Robert J. Cammilleri

Robert J. Cammilleri, 64, of Somers, beloved husband of Lori (Nitch) Cammilleri, passed peacefully at his home on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Hartford on December 25, 1960, he was the son of the late Leo and Cecile (Bell) Cammilleri. Robert grew up in Enfield before settling in Somers, where he and Lori raised their family and made their home for 25 wonderful years.
Robert enjoyed a remarkable 45-year career with Underwriters Laboratories, where he held a number of roles throughout the years. His favorite role, as Global Account Manager, he took great pride in, which allowed him to travel the world-often with Lori by his side.
A true muscle car enthusiast, Robert's pride and joy was his 1964 Nova. He was an avid New England Patriots fan and will be fondly remembered for his quick wit and outstanding sense of humor.
In addition to his devoted wife Lori, Robert is survived by his children: Robert Cammilleri and his girlfriend Brittney Duncan of Enfield; Kaley Cammilleri of Enfield; and Eric Cammilleri and his fiancée Kalene Pacheco of Tolland; and his cherished granddaughter, Hazel. He also leaves his sister, Jean Rush, and her husband Rick of Bonita Springs, FL; his nieces and nephews, Brendan and Ryan Rush, and Rhiannon and Jacob Nitch; his brother-in-law, Joseph Nitch; sister-in-law, Patty Nitch; and lifelong friends, Janice and George Berube.
In addition to his parents, Robert was predeceased by his mother- and father-in-law, Alma and Joseph Nitch, and his brothers-in-law, David and Robert Nitch.
Robert's family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday, November 1, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Road, Enfield.
