I still cry Atleast once a day,I miss him so much,as my kids grow,I can hear him telling me how great I'm doing and how proud he is of me,it makes my position with my kids more special, more meaningful, watching them grow and become great kids and I see my son working hard and putting priority's first,I'm very lucky to have the family I have and it's comforting knowing he sees us living honest just lives appreciating the little things life offers us that we take for granite every day, still seems like something is missing,I miss him so much.

As a son,I just want my father to be proud of me,Its was hard to try to meet expectations of others,he has so much trust and respect of others it's hard to live up to,it was more my concern than his,he just wanted me to be a simple man,I made many mistakes and many lessons learned,he never gave up on me,that's what got me through,as I grew older I realized I just had to be the best person for me,in order to make the world better I must start with myself, even today I try to live up to him, because I know it's the right way to live,I lost one of my best friends and I gained the strength to move on because of it,if I can be half the man he was I will be ok.I never met a harder worker, and loving father, and a man that never gave up on me,he is the true definition of a real man,he recently told me how much i inspire him to be a better man, after looking up to him for so long it makes it harder to accept but I realize if I keep on track and live through him I'll continue to make him proud,I love you so much dad....
