Robert William Capozzoli
1/19/1932 - 6/6/2024
Robert William Capozzoli, age 92, of Medford, Massachusetts, passed away Thursday, June 6, 2024, in Port Saint Lucie, FL. Private cremation. No service will be held.
Survived by his loving family, his wife of 69 years Eleanor, daughter Susan and son-in-law Paul, son Luke, daughter Nancy, son Eric, grandsons Luke and Richard, and great-granddaughter Giavanna. Preceded in death by his son Robert Jr., granddaughter Krystal and grandson Shane. Our family has suffered the greatest loss that will be felt in huge waves across all whom he has touched. Robert lived an honorable and full life, marked by dedication to his family, and the passion of his life's work as a custom builder. Known to many as Bob or just Cap, he held a very special place in the hearts and minds of all who were lucky enough and blessed to know him. As a husband "Bobby", father "Dad", grandfather and great-grandfather "Papa Bobby", and father-in -law, Bob, he took the helm, never wavering, bearing the responsibility of his family till the end. With his protective guiding hand, loving gestures and open heart, we were all so blessed. As a father-in law he was embraced as a "second dad", with the love he gave so freely. As a brother-in-law, he was truly a brother and friend. As an uncle, he was caring. As a son and brother, he was loyal. As a friend, mentor, and boss, his influence was great, impacting many lives with his generosity and big heart. Over the years, countless people were drawn to him and a fortunate few, rightfully claiming him as their father too and as part of our family. As a person, he was truly selfless, giving all he had and more to anyone who needed it. It was experienced and known by many that they could call on him, anytime, anywhere, he would be there. The statement that "Bob would give you the shirt off his back" was literal. On behalf of his wife, Eleanor, "My dearest husband Bobby, the love of my life, your place is in my heart my love. I am yours and you are mine. My heartache is only quieted by knowing you are now in a better place, in heaven with God. Forever and always yours, Love Ellie". On behalf of his children, grandchildren and great granddaughter, "Dearest Dad and Papa, you taught us how to be our best selves with your endless love, caring and guidance. Your legacy is great and with pride we tell you there will always be the most special place in our hearts for you where our love is abundant. As his Gia would say, Papa, we love you to the moon and back."
In the wise words of your mother, Genevieve, "never say goodbye, only so long", until we are reunited together again. Love forever and always, your loving family.

Bob was my old neighbor in Boca Raton, Mr Charming and kind to all of us.
He was always very helpful and kind, with that big smile and good words. We really missed him when he sold and moved away.
