Robert Tommy Carpenter

Rogersville: Robert Tommy Carpenter, age 31, of Rogersville, passed away unexpectedly, Monday, February 3, 2025. He was of the Baptist faith. Robert was employed with the Hawkins County Sheriffs Department. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed working on old cars. Robert loved his birds and his dog, Halo. Robert was an old soul with a heart of gold and was loved by many and will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Robert Cox; paternal grandparents, Tommy and Susan Carpenter;maternal great-grandmother, Carolyn and Billy Carter; paternal great-grandparents, Ruby and Earl Carpenter.
He is survived by his loving parents, Tommy and Kristie Carpenter; brother, Hunter Carpenter all of Rogersville; maternal grandmother, Donna Worley and husband, Paul of Bluff City; maternal great-grandmother, Carolyn Carter; aunts, Natosha Barnett and husband, Jamie, Kimberly Hunley all of Church Hill; cousins, Kendra Day, Kyli Brown, McKenzie Arnold, Jaime Barnett, Paige Hunley, Zoey Barnett, Skyler Day, Aiden Day, Walker Day and Maeve Brown; best friend, Dalton Chitwood and a host of friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, February 17, 2025 from 4-8pm at his home.
