It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robert "Bobby" J. Carrothers Jr., 66, of Corpus Christi, TX, on August 12, 2025. Born in Midland, TX on April 26, 1959, Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Sr. and Loyce.
Bobby was the beloved husband of Eileen, with whom he shared 40 years of marriage, partnership, and countless memories. Together they raised three children — two sons, Jimmy (Tiffany) Roschetzky and Ryan (Allison) Roschetzky, and a daughter, Nicole (John) North. He was also a grandfather to six grandchildren, Taylor, Madison, Ryan Jr., Sarah, Annabelle, and Adley, who affectionately knew him as “Pawpaw.”
With over 20 years of experience in the industry, Bobby worked as a service technician with Xerox. He was a natural problem-solver and tinkerer — always fixing things around the house or out in the garage, often with a cigar in hand and a dog by his side. He had a gift for making things work.
Outside of work, Bobby loved to barbecue, always perfecting his brisket. He had a soft spot for animals — whether it was any of his faithful dogs, a garage cat, his chickens or a stray in need of love, they always seemed to find him.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew him.
A memorial service will be held at Sawyer-George Funeral Home on August 23, 2025, at 11:00 am. All who knew and loved Bobby are welcome to attend.
"May the Lord direct your hearts into God's love and Christ's perseverance." — 2 Thess. 3:5
