Robert "Jimmy" Carter

In loving memory of Robert "Jimmy" Carter, who was a caring son of the late Walter and Anna Mae Carter. He will be remembered for his warm spirit and incredible sense of humor, bringing light and laughter to everyone around him. Jimmy peacefully passed away on December 30, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving behind a legacy of love.

Jimmy was the beloved husband of 47 years of the late Lillian Carter. He was a devoted father to Robert (Sally) Carter Jr. and the late Gary Carter. He held a special place in his heart for his grandchildren, Robert Carter III, the late Phillip Carter and Michael Carter and was a caring great grandfather of two. He is now reunited in heaven with his siblings Walter "Bud", Richard, Jack and Gail. Jimmy leaves behind his best friend and companion of 19 years Donna Biehl, with whom he created countless loving memories. His spirit will forever resonate within the stories of laughter shared among those he held dear.

Robert was a man of simple pleasures; he loved his dogs and enjoyed playing card games. His passion for Westerns brought him joy, as did his unwavering support for the Cincinnati Reds and the Cincinnati Bengals. He delighted Donna with Sunday breakfast and took pride in caring for his yard which was a testament to his dedication to their home.

A man of deep faith, Jimmy was a devoted parishioner at St. Ann Church, where he found comfort and community. Jimmy was always there to lend a helping hand and put a smile on your face. He will be missed by family friends and neighbors as his warmth and kindness touched the lives of everyone he encountered, he will forever cherish every moment spent with his beloved family.

In honoring Jimmy's remarkable life, a visitation will be held at St. Ann Church, located at 2900 W Galbraith Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45239, on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, from 10:00 AM until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. Friends and family are warmly invited to gather together to pay their respects, share stories, and celebrate a life so richly lived. The family kindly requests that memorials be made to St. Jude’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place Memphis, TN 38105, as a tribute to Jimmy's compassionate spirit.

As we gather to reflect on Jimmy's life, let us share our cherished memories, celebrate the love he radiated, and carry his spirit with us in our hearts forever.
