Robert Chassaigne Jr.

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Robert Chassaigne Jr., who left us on August 14, 2025, at the age of 76. Born on April 13, 1949, Robert lived a life marked by devotion to his country, his family, and his values.

Robert proudly served in the United States Army, where he learned discipline, resilience, and honor - qualities that he carried with him throughout his life. Though a reserved and quiet man by nature, he was steadfast and strong when it mattered most, offering guidance and support with a steady hand.

Beyond his strength, Robert had a deeply compassionate side. He was especially kind to children and had a natural patience and gentleness with animals. His presence was one of quiet reassurance, and those who knew him felt both his strength and his warmth.

He was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Armida Chassaigne, and a loving father to his children: Robert Marcel III, Jason Frank, Roland Louis, Robert Chassaigne, Maria Isabel Chassaigne, and Veronica Olguin. He was also a proud grandfather to Zachary Louis, Franko Grey, Zariela Veronica, Zianey Gabrielle, and Eduardo Antonio Jr. Robert's love for his family was the cornerstone of his life, and he leaves behind a legacy of loyalty, love, and resilience.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Ramon Roberto and Maria Isabel. He is survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, and many extended family members who will continue to honor his memory. He will also be missed by the countless friends and comrades whose lives he touched along the way.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m. Sunday, August 24, 2025, at Perches Funeral Home – East, located at 2280 Joe Battle Blvd., El Paso, Texas 79938. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:30 a.m. on Monday August 25, 2025, at Saint Mark Catholic Church. Committal Service to follow at 1:00 p.m. at Fort Bliss Cemetery with U.S. Army Honors.
