Born on August 18, 1958, in Monroe, Louisiana, Keith was a man whose life was marked by a love for adventure, a gift for creativity, and an indomitably spirited nature. As he grew, his love for hunting and fishing became a cornerstone of his life, a source of peace and a conduit for his adventurous spirit. Keith's talents went beyond the great outdoors; he possessed a remarkable knack for building, creating structures, and mementos that would stand as symbols of his keen eye for detail and craftsmanship. He was a member of McClendon Baptist Church, Keith lived his faith daily, embodying the church's teachings through his kindness and generosity. He poured his spirit into every corner of his community and was revered for his creative solutions and unwavering support for those around him.
Keith was preceded in death by his dad, Glenn Cloyd; sister, Carolyn Ann Taylor; 1 grandchild.
Those left to cherish his memory, his beloved wife, Karen Jill Cloyd, his son Jeremy Keith Cloyd, his mother Nellwyn Ann Finklea Haley, seven grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
His role as a husband, father, and grandfather was imbued with the same adventurous energy that defined his life; he was a guide, a teacher, and an inspiration. Whether he was in the quiet of the woods, casting a line into the still water, or crafting a woodwork masterpiece, his life was an ongoing adventure, marked by creativity and a spirited zest for life. The warmth of his laughter, the depth of his wisdom, and the joy of his storytelling will be sorely missed.
Pallbearers will be Danny Stuckey, Gary Stuckey, Paul Mills, John Mills, Kevin Kuhn, and Bobby Bailey.
Honorary pallbearer will be Chris Lenard.
