Robert Allen Cook, age 83, of Vineland, NJ passed away while surrounded by loving family on Thursday, January 16, 2025. He was born on October 18, 1941, to the late William and Frieda Cook.
Robert "Bob" was born in Philadelphia, PA and had resided in Medford, NJ and Bellmawr, NJ before moving to Vineland. Bob served his country honorably from 1959 to 1963 as an airman first class within the United States Air Force. He then went on to become a dedicated employee for RCA and IBM, and later, Holman Ford. One of Bob's proudest achievements was taking part in the Lunar Orbiter program while working for RCA.
In his leisure, Bob enjoyed movies and was once an avid bowler, tennis player and golfer. But above all, he cherished the time spent with family and friends, and will be deeply missed by those he leaves behind.
Bob is survived by his daughter, Stacy McGuigan (Frank); grandchildren, Brooke, Jodi, Aidan, Luke; daughter-in-law, Dawn Boyle; He was predeceased by his son, Robert Cook Jr. and brothers, William and Ray.
Bob was also predeceased by his second wife, Carol Cook (nee Kojeski) and is survived by his step-sons, John, Dominic and Mark, and brother-in-law Charles Kojeski.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, January 23rd from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm at Mathis Funeral Home, 58 N. Main Street, Medford, NJ. Interment will follow at Park View Cemetery at Historic Medford Village, Medford, NJ. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in the name of Robert A. Cook may be made to New Jersey Veterans Memorial Home at Vineland.
