Robert Cottle, age 83, passed away peacefully at his residence in Washington, Georgia on Monday, October 13, 2025. Robert was born on December 12, 1941, in Atlanta, Georgia
Robert was a proud graduate of Henry W. Grady High School in Atlanta, Georgia, before furthering his education with a Bachelor's Degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. His scholarly pursuits laid the foundation for a successful career dedicated to serving others.
Before his retirement, Robert served as a Manager at Safeway Grocery in Phoenix, Arizona. He approached his work with dedication and integrity, earning the respect and admiration of both his colleagues and the community. His leadership and commitment to quality service were hallmarks of his professional life.
Robert is preceded in death by his cherished parents, George Keyser and Bolton Newland Lunsford, who instilled in him the values of hard work, kindness, and compassion. They shaped his character and guided him throughout his life, leaving a legacy that would carry through generations.
As we remember Robert, we celebrate a life well-lived, characterized by his unwavering dedication to family, work, and community. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
To honor his wishes, no funeral services will be held.
