Robert L. Crowe

Robert L. Crowe Sr., age 81, passed away on Tuesday November 28, 2023, at Pleasant Ridge Manor.
He was born in Erie on September 19, 1942, a son to the late George Crowe and Phyllis Bateman Crowe Ennis.
Robert graduated in 1960 from Girard Union High School. He worked as a salesman at RL Crowe Enterprises for over 30 years. He liked to hunt, fish and golf. He enjoyed singing karaoke and playing the piano and was known as the piano man to several. He loved the outdoors and liked feeding birds and squirrels. He was an Eagle Scout, a member, and Past Master twice of the Lake Erie Lodge No 347 F&A.M. and was a deacon at Lake City Presbyterian Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a nephew, David Cashore and brother-in-law, Ron Cashore.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Rebecca Decker Crowe; three sons, Steven E. Crowe (Sherrie), Robert L. Crowe Jr. (Kathy), Terry E. Crowe (Peg); daughter, Tara L. Simitoski (Jim), nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren; two brothers, Dave Crowe and Bill Crowe (Susan) and several nieces and nephews.
Services were held at the Burton Funeral Home, Girard at the convenience of the family.
