Robert Lewis Cunningham, 90, of Nelsonville, passed away Thursday, August 29, 2024 at Embassy of Logan. He was born December 20, 1933 in Old Floodwood, Ohio, son of the late Everett Ray and Isabelle (McDonald) Cunningham. Robert was the loving husband of the late Ola (Perry) Cunningham.
Robert retired after 30 years with Selkirk Metalbestos in Logan. He was a great family man.
Robert is survived by his daughters, Lisa (Timothy) Wolfe of Lancaster and Carla Jean (Steve) Wolfe of Lancaster; 13 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Charlie “Junior” Cunningham and Clarence “Buddy” Cunningham; sisters, Pauline Searles and Sharon Newlon; and daughters-in-law, Roberta Warren and Debbie Andrews.
In addition to his parents and wife, Robert was preceded in death by his daughter, Roxann Winchell; sons, B.J. Warren and Randy Warren; brothers, Pearley L. Cunningham, Sherman Cunningham, Aaron (Donna) Cunningham, Elbert (Jean) Cunningham, and John (Edna) Cunningham; sisters, Margie Kimes and Audrey Adams; sisters-in-law, Pat Cunningham and Wanda Cunningham; and brothers-in-law, David Searles and Leonard Newlon.
Funeral services will be held 12:00 pm, Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville with Pastor Don Harris officiating. Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Nelsonville. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, from 6-8 pm and on Wednesday, from 11 am until the time of the service.
Donations may be made in memory of Robert to the Alzheimer’s Association, Central Ohio Chapter, 1379 Dublin Road, Columbus, Ohio 43215.
