Nancy Cunningham

Nancy Cunningham, age 83, of Cumming, Georgia, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on January 23, 2026. She was born on May 19, 1942, in East Tennessee to the late John Lee and Artie Stamey.

Nancy was one of nine children and was raised in Loudon, TN, where she graduated from high school in 1960. She later married and moved to Georgia where she built a beautiful life rooted in faith, family, and service of others. She lived in Forsyth County for the past 25 years, having previously resided in Cobb County.

A devoted Christian, Nancy was a faithful member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. She loved God with every bit of her soul and lived her faith daily through her kindness, generosity, and unwavering compassion for others. Known lovingly as "Fancy Nancy," she had a huge heart and would do anything for anyone. She was a true inspiration to those who knew her and a courageous fighter throughout her life.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents; six siblings; her husband, Paul Cunningham; and her daughter, Paula Mundy.

She is survived by her devoted daughter, Tammy Patrick of Gainesville, GA; her cherished grandchildren, Justin (Allison) McCracken of Kingsland, GA, Laura (Jonathan) Webb of Gainesville, GA, Zackary Mundy of Cumming, GA, and Megan Mundy of Cumming, GA; two brothers, Reed (Rachel) Stamey and Raymond Stamey, both of Loudon, TN; six great-grandchildren; and numerous extended family members who will forever treasure her memory.

Memorial services will be held on Friday, January 30, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of McDonald & Son Funeral Home, with Rev. Craig Richards and Rev. Garry English officiating.

The family will receive friends on Friday, January 30th, 2026 from 12:00 pm until the time of service.
