Robert Daniels, Jr., age 59, was called home March 6, 2022.
Bob had a heart of gold! He was always there for anyone who needed him. He never met a stranger. He was a best friend to so many. He had the gift of gab.
A retired truck driver, Bob was an avid fisherman, with several Fish Ohio awards. He loved hunting and horse racing. He talked on his CB radio daily, with the handle of Popeye, or 77 when he talked skip. He was a connoisseur of potato chips and drank water by the gallon. He collected knives, vinyl, and vintage stereo equipment. He was a drummer back in the day. Bob loved concerts, especially rock. He loved football; the Cowboys and The OSU Buckeyes were his favorite teams. He would shoot hoops anywhere with anyone. He could sell ice cream to an Eskimo, and he was a horse trader as well.
Bob and his closest friends were in the Guinness Book of World Records for the biggest rubber band ball in the world.
He loved you all, and will be missed by so many!
Preceded in death by mother Hester Wood, father Robert Daniels Sr., brother Terry Maynard, uncle Ralph Wood, and stepson Robert Thompson Jr.
Survived by wife, Tammy Sutherland Daniels; daughter, Christa Ferguson; stepson, Timothy Sutherland Sr.; grandchildren, James and Savannah White, Malika Cooper, Taylor Sanche, Dean Sutherland, Timothy Sutherland Jr., and Elan Phillip Wagoner; sisters, Nancy Schuller and Terry Sutherland; brothers-in-law Robert Schuller and Allen McKienze; niece, Teresa Maynard; aunts, Shirley Vanetta and Nancy Hardy; cousins, Tim and Kim Vanetta and Apryl Eaton; great-niece, Brianna; many other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, including special friends, Rick Karam, Turk, Mark, Joe, and Jeffro.
