Robert Keith DeLashmit, age 82, of Millersburg, passed away on Monday, June 23, 2025, with his family by his side.
He was born on March 24, 1943, in Flint, to James & Margaret (Giles) DeLashmit.
Bob proudly served in the U.S. Army before his honorable discharge.
He married Virginia Wright on September 26, 1964, in Fenton.
Bob worked for Buick until his retirement in 1994. He was a lifetime member of the VFW and charter member of the Millersburg Fraternal Order of Eagles Club 4482. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and woodcarving. Bob was a very loving and patient husband, father and grandfather. He loved his family dearly and will be greatly missed.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Virginia DeLashmit; children, Scott Keith (Kim) DeLashmit and Renee (Harmany) DeLashmit; two grandchildren, Joshua Keith and Zachary Lawrence (Megan) DeLashmit; and two great-grandchildren, Austin & Oliver.
He is preceded in death by his parents; James & Margaret DeLashmit; brothers, James, Ronald and William.
Burial will take place at 1:00 PM on July 2, 2025, at Great Lakes National Cemetery, 4200 Belford Road, Holly, MI. Military Honors will be rendered by the U.S. Army.
