Fletcher Neal Delashmit, age 74, of Covington, Tennessee, passed away Friday, March 28, 2025, at St. Francis Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother to his family, and a member of the Liberty Baptist Church. Fletcher was a trucker who worked for various companies as well as owning his own.
Fletcher is preceded in death by his parents, Billy Hayes and Marie Delashmit; siblings, Rickey Delashmit, Robert Delashmit, Mary McCage, Diane Fleming, Mark Delashmit, Randy Max, and Jeff Max, and a granddaughter, Erin Lindley Delashmit.
He is survived by his wife, Carol, children, Kacey Maxwell, brother-in-law, Mike Kinney and wife, Kathy, and daughter, Annabelle who was special to him, and his son, Deneal Delashmit and wife, Evelyn; his siblings, Greg Delashmit, Steve Delashmit, Cindy Kidd, Christi Billings, Teresa Oliver, and Melissa Delashmit; his grandchildren, Elizabeth (Dalian) Crowder, McKenzie Delashmit, Nicholas Delashmit, Fletcher "Neal" Delashmit, Jr., and Mason Hayes Delashmit.
Cremation services are under the direction of Covington Funeral Home. The family requests that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
