Robert Lynn Deshazer

Robert Lynn Deshazer, 67, of Kiowa, passed away on Friday, August 1, 2025, at his home.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 4, 2025, at the Bob and Mae Weaver Memorial Sanctuary at Kiowa Cemetery, officiated by Rev. Dale Begley. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Bishop Funeral Service and Crematory.
Robert Lynn was born on January 10, 1958, in Phoenix, Arizona. He was raised in Arizona and graduated from high school in Globe, Arizona. Lynn worked briefly as a truck driver but spent most of his life working in construction alongside his best friend-his father, Bob-at Bob's Construction Company.
Lynn was a man of faith who loved attending church and playing the drums at the Gospel Lighthouse Church in Kiowa. He was known for his kind and generous spirit, always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He also loved the outdoors and especially enjoyed fishing.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Geraldine (Mullins) Coleman, and his stepbrother, Steve Ellis.
Lynn is survived by his father and stepmother, Rev. Bob and Donna Deshazer; his son, Chris Deshazer; his granddaughter, Kaitlynn Deshazer; his sisters, Connie Dirkschneider and husband Gary, and Brenda Lewis and husband Kenny; his stepsisters, Sandy Kinsey and Bailey Grantham; his stepbrother, Bub Ellis; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
