Robert DiLauro Obituary
Bob was born in Camden, NJ and attended Camden Catholic High School where he first started dating Regina Francis, who he later married and with whom he had 3 children (Krista, Robert, and Melissa). He went on to earn his Associates Degree from St. Joseph's University. He then served in the Army, primarily Army Intelligence. After leaving the military, he became the owner/operator of the Chick-fil-a in The Cherry Hill Mall. After leaving Chick-fil-a, Bob worked in sales and eventually met his current wife, Sharon Melchiorre, whom he was married to for 21 years. He loved his family passionately. He loved spending time on the beach with his wife, children, and grandchildren and eating Mack n' Manco's Pizza with them. He made sure that he never missed a game that his children or grandchildren played in. He would never pass up a good pasta meal or a nice cold beer while eating hard pretzels or enjoying a bowl of ice cream. Bob gave his whole heart in everything he did. He will be forever missed and always in our hearts.
Relatives and friends will gather Tuesday 2 to 4pm in The Schetter Funeral Home, 304 W. Marlton Pike, Cherry Hill, NJ. Funeral service Tuesday 4pm. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Battleship New Jersey, 62 Battleship Pl. Camden, NJ 08103. https://63691.blackbaudhosting.com/63691/General-Operating

Sharon, it is hard to believe that a year has passed since Bob headed to Heaven I understand how much you miss him. Sending you a giant hug! And I wish I was there to share an NJ pizza.

I met Bob through his wife Sharon, who is a close friend of my cousin Jerri McCandless. Every time we got together it was constant talking and fun. A major memory is the time Bob and Sharon; Bob´s metal detector; and St. Anthony all worked for hours to find a very important important lost earring in my backyard. AND THEY DID!
