Granby- Robert L. "Bob" Dubuque, 75, passed away May 18, 2023, with his family by his side. He was born on February 4, 1948 in Burlington, VT., to the late Robert Dubuque and Irene (Seymour) Gay. After graduating from Belchertown High School in 1967, Bob served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam war era. Following his time in the service, Bob was employed with Autron as a machine operator for 25 years, and later with Marcus Printing for 9 years, before retiring at the age of 62. Bob was an avid fisherman and enjoyed both small lake fishing and deep sea fishing. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren whom he loved dearly.
Besides his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his siblings, Skip and Gary Gay, and Randall Gowing. He will be truly missed by his wife of 48 years, Margaret "Peggy" (Lucia) Dubuque; son, Christopher Dubuque and his wife, Jodi; sisters, Vicki O'Brien and husband, Michael, and Michelle Knapp and husband, David; brother, Chris Daley and wife, Pearl; grandchildren, Tyler and Kyle Dubuque, and Hailey and Ethan O'Malley; great-grandchildren, Jeremiah and Jayda; as well as many extended family and friends.
A service will be held on June 10, 2023 at 11:00am at the Hope United Methodist Church in Belchertown. Burial will be held at the family's discretion.
