Douglas- Robert A. Duck, 72, passed away Unexpectedly Tuesday June 25, 2024 at home.
He is survived by his brother Paul Duck of Worcester; his companion of 15 years Susan Bombard, many cousins and friends. He was brother of the late Sharon Duck.
Born in Paris, Illinois on March 5, 1952, Robert was son of the late Charles and Marion (King) Duck and was raised in Douglas.
Bob was employed as a supervisor and group leader for United Parcel Service in Shrewsbury for 22 years, retiring in 2018. Bob loved the outdoors, visiting our country's National Parks. He enjoyed trips to Florida and Myrtle Beach and spending time at the Douglas Reservoir. Bob also enjoyed collecting American Indian artifacts.
Susan and the King family would like to extend a special thank you to Bob's visiting nurse Kim Weagle, for all the love and care she provided to Bob.
His graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at 11:30 at Howard Cemetery in Sutton. A celebration of his life will follow. To leave a condolence message for his family please visit www.Jackmanfuneralhomes.com
