Robert Glenn Eddings (1959-2025)
Glenn Eddings, age 65, passed from this life on January 27th, 2025. Robert was born in Arlington, TX, in 1959 to Terry Eddings and Beatrice Benson LuAllen.
Robert served in the Marine Corps for a short time as a young man. Throughout his life, he worked many jobs, including as a mechanic, roughneck, owner of an equipment business, and salesman in the oilfield.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, his stepmother Alice Pauline Eddings, and his stepbrother Ronnie Stafford.
He is survived by his life partner Joyce Martin Gray of Mineral Wells, TX, sister Connie Eddings of Weatherford. TX; brother Jeffrey Eddings of Littlefield, TX; stepsister Debbie Clark and her husband Terry of Hawley, TX; daughter Renee Parsons and granddaughter Mia, of Cleburne, TX, and granddaughter Lilly, of Phoenix, AZ; son Ray Long, daughter-in-law Kristine, and daughters Blair Long, and Neveah Brown of Michigan; son Dustin Fenton of Fort Worth. TX; Uncle Garland Frost of Dallas, TX; niece LaShanda Joyner of Joshua, TX; nephew Thomas Eddings of Houston, TX; stepson Steve Gray and his wife Nicole, and grandsons Weston and Brayden of Arlington, TX; stepdaughter Rachel and her husband Ian Johnson, and grandson Gage and granddaughter Maya of Fort Worth, TX, as well as many “adopted” brothers, sisters, children, and grandchildren. He loved and was loved by many.
A time of remembrance and visitation will be held at White’s Funeral Home in Mineral Wells, TX, on Saturday, March 8th, from 1 to 3, followed immediately by a celebration of Robert’s life with family and friends at his residence in Mineral Wells.
Donations may be made to The Salvation Army or the Marine Corps Toys for Tots.
