In Loving Memory of Robert Eric Ellefsen
On February 7, 2024, the world lost a remarkable individual, Robert Eric Ellefsen, who peacefully passed away at his residence in Highland, UT. Born on July 9, 1962, in Salt Lake City, Robert's life was a testament to strength, resilience, and unwavering determination.
Robert's journey was one filled with triumph and perseverance. Despite facing numerous challenges in his early years, he embraced life with a zest for laughter and love. As a devoted and nurturing father, he constantly strived to impart his wisdom and life lessons to his children, ensuring they grew up surrounded by his endless love.
Robert served a mission in Arkansas for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where he met and taught many people who were also blessed by his gentle ways. After completing his education and earning his Bachelor's Degree, Robert ventured into the world of entrepreneurship, excelling in the real estate industry. His entrepreneurial spirit and dedication led him to achieve great success, leaving an indelible impact on those he encountered along his professional journey.
However, Robert's true passion lay in the great outdoors. Whether it be kayaking in rivers or skiing down snowy slopes, he found solace and joy in nature's beauty. Cycling, in particular, became his ultimate passion, as he participated in the grueling LOTOJA race a remarkable 12 times. Even while battling the pain of his illness, he fearlessly completed the 206-mile race last September, proving to his children the importance of perseverance and strength, even in the face of adversity.
Robert is survived by his beloved wife, Jennifer Ellefsen, and their two cherished children, Eric Jens Ellefsen and Annika Ruby Ellefsen. His legacy of love, laughter, and unwavering determination will forever remain in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him.
To celebrate Robert's incredible life, we invite family, friends, and the community to join us for public viewings at the Highland 39th Ward, 6411 West 11800 North, Highland on February 9, 2024, from 6:00-8:00 pm and on February 10, 2024, from 9:45- 10:45 am.
