Robert P. Erhard

Robert Peter Erhard, 66, of West Caln, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 9, 2025, at Chester County Hospital.

Born in Brooklyn, NY, on July 19, 1959, he was the son of Phyllis F. Arnao Erhard of Thorndale and the late Robert Francis Erhard. Robert (Bob) graduated from Conestoga High School with the class of 1977. He worked as an independent contractor and was a skilled and creative craftsman in numerous areas. As a lifelong learner, he approached everything with curiosity and always had new information to share. In addition to his pursuit of knowledge, Bob enjoyed live music and dancing to traditional rock music at local venues. Some of his favorite pastimes also included fishing, flying kites, and building sand sculptures in Ocean City, New Jersey. Most of all, he loved his family and spending time with them.

Surviving in addition to his mother, Phyllis, are his children, Brandon Erhard of West Chester, PA, and Megan Erhard of Wilmington, DE; sisters, Laura (Anthony) Fiorenza of Romansville, PA, and Donna Erhard of Port Richey, FL; and his nephews and nieces, Derek Fiorenza, Victoria (Travis) Deputy, Darian (Joe) Cardozo, Matthew Smith, and Andrew Smith. Predeceased in life by the mother of his children, Laura L. Erhard (née Matthew).

Relatives and friends are invited to an evening visitation on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, from 6 – 7:30 PM, followed by a prayer service at 7:30 PM at James J. Terry Funeral Home, 736 E Lancaster Avenue, Downingtown, PA 19335.

An additional time of visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16, 2025, from 9:45 – 10:45 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 332 Manor Avenue, Downingtown, PA 19335. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 AM. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Robert's memory to the American Heart Association and/or Fiorenza's Food For Friends (F4).
