He always listened and had great advice for my health. The world truly lost a great man. Dr Estupinan is one the most caring doctors I have met. I work with him before he joined Watson Clinic then I chose him for my personal primary physician. His sudden depaeture from earth has rocked my world. He's an amazing human and will be sorely missed. What void he left behind!!! My deepest condolences to his entire family and loved ones. My heart goes out to you all. The world just lost a truly great man. Bob had a kind and gentle soul, and I know he will be sorely missed. Family was most important to him. He truly treasured and loved all his children, working to provide them with the best life possible. I knew Bob the best when he was a younger man. He was full of ambition and hope. The world was open to him, and he was eager to succeed. He did what he set out to do, admirably accomplishing his goals of a successful medical career and raising a family.
When Bob would visit Chicago with Blanca and her mother, he would stay at my home with our family. We always had so much fun. He always welcomed new adventures, no matter how ridiculous they sounded. He was always full of joy to share them with family and friends. He felt it important to introduce children to wonders in the world. One very, very cold and snowy Christmas in Chicago, Bob bundled up little 3 1/2 year old Blanca and took her to see the biggest and most fantastic light display in the Chicago area ever. Some of us chickened out. When they returned, the enchanting smiles between father and daughter were truly heartwarming. However, we had to warm Bob up, as he returned looking like the abominable snowman for sure. His Florida blood was not yet used to the Chicago frigid temps. We laughed a long time about that one. I remember his hospitality when I visited Lakeland. He introduced me to the best Cuban sandwich in the US, and he had to drive almost all the way to Miami to get it! I didn't even know what a Cuban Sandwich was way back then, but I never forgot the details of that sandwich and the adventure-filled ride to get it.
What I remember most about Bob throughout the years is his ability to stay calm in difficult situations and to break seemingly insurmountable things into manageable pieces. His advice was always sound and well thought out. He had a talent for making a person feel respected and supported. He was a highly intelligent man and freely shared his gift with others. Bob was a generous man. I feel those traits are some of the things that made him a talented, accomplished doctor and a trusted friend.
Bob could catch humor in a situation quickly, and I will miss that quick wit. He made us all smile. Now, I will smile whenever I think of him and say a little prayer. Yes, the world just lost a great man. God bless you, Robert, dearest brother-in-law, and may your lovely, kind soul rest in peace.
Love, Susan McCormack Leahy

Dr. Estupiñan was my doctor for many years. He was always kind and gentle with a great sense of humor and a laugh that always made me laugh, too. He made sense of all the tests and, no matter how bad I might have been feeling, I always felt better and reassured when I left his office. Suyi was his good right hand for years. I can't imagine how much different our lives will be without him. Rest in Peace, Dr. E. You have no idea how much you will be missed.
