Robert James "Bob" Faux, 84, of Oxford, PA, passed away on Friday, September 5, 2025.

He was the son of the late Frederick George and Ruth Cecilia (nee Fenning) Faux, and the stepson of the late Jean (nee Brown) Faux.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Mae (nee Wysocki) Faux, children, Nicole Faux (Peter Schankowitz) and Stuart Faux, stepson, Christopher Wysocki (Lu Ann), grandchildren, Olivia Griffith, Hannah Griffith, Carly Jennings (Patrick), and Casey Schankowitz, siblings, Fred Faux (Sharon), Sharon Donnelly (David), Shaun Policarpo (Marc), and Joseph Faux, along with many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his sisters, Kayte Faux and Meghan Faux.

Bob was born in Philadelphia, PA on June 7, 1941. In his early years, Bob loved baseball and played catcher for several Little League teams. He graduated from Haverford High School in 1959 and went on to earn both a Bachelor's Degree and an M.B.A. from Drexel University. He attended Drexel in the evening while working at the Sealtest Ice Cream factory in West Philadelphia during the day. Bob ascended to the position of CFO for Colorcon Corporation in North Wales, PA, but eventually left to pursue his passion for real estate by founding his own company engaged in the rehabilitation of historic properties throughout Philadelphia. In his later years, Bob worked as an insurance broker.

Bob was intelligent, kind, and full of optimism, and rarely seen without a smile on his face. He loved family gatherings, cooking for a crowd, and was considered a gourmet cook by many who knew him. Bob was an avid golfer and for many years was a member of Manufacturers' Golf & Country Club, in Ft. Washington, PA. In his free time, he loved collecting antiques, singing, and watching golf and other sports on television, especially the Phillies and Eagles. Bob accepted Jesus as Savior at the age of 72, was a member of Safe Harbor Baptist Church, a member of the choir, and served as a Deacon.
