Robert Lynn Fergason

Robert Lynn Fergason passed away at his home in Blum on August 3, 2025. He battled Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS, Lou Gehrig’s) disease for six years before succumbing to the illness.

Robert was born on July 13, 1956 in Fort Worth, Texas. He drove trucks, worked on ranches, and built metal buildings throughout his lifetime. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He loved riding his motorcycle, camping, and being with family and friends.

Robert is preceded in death by his parents, Clay Dell and Edith Fergason. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, JonaBeth Fergason and their children-Jimmy Fergason with his wife Brandy of Whitney and Haley Fergason of Blum; sister-Jody Fergason of Blum and brother-Clay Fergason, Jr., of Blum. He was an adored Pawpaw to Trinity, Keylee, Dalton, Brynlea, and Sophie. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
