Robert Michael Fitzpatrick, age 81, of Bel Air, passed away September 22, 2015 at The Upper Chesapeake Medical Center. He was born on October 30, 1933 in Harford County to John Buckley and Elizabeth (Fahey) Fitzpatrick of Belcamp. Robert was a graduate of Bel Air High School (1951) and the University of Maryland at College Park (1956). He served in the United States Army from 1956 to 1959 in Europe, where he studied advance engineering in London, England. After receiving an Honorary Discharge, Robert went on to work for four Fortune 500 corporations in Canada, England, France, Argentina and the United States, retiring in 1995 from the Borden Company in Andover, Massachusetts. Besides holding membership in the American Legion and the Knights of Columbus, he enjoyed golfing, walking the Ma and Pa Trail and reading. Robert was predeceased by his parents; his sister, Elizabeth Fitzpatrick Collins; and three brothers, John, Daniel and William Fitzpatrick. His beloved wife of 45 years Nancy Teel Fitzpatrick entered eternal life this past March. He is survived by his twin brother, Richard Fitzpatrick, (Mary Anne) of Richmond Virginia; his stepson Adrian Teel (Marge) of Lakewood Ranch, Florida and their children, Katie Busby and Chris Teel. He also is survived by several step grandchildren along with a host of nieces and nephews.
