Robert F. Foley

Robert F. Foley, 83, of Mashpee, passed away peacefully at home after a long illness on December 11, 2022. He was the beloved husband of Gail Foley and son of the late Robert and Evelyn Foley.
Bob served in the United States Army during Vietnam. He worked as a computer specialist with the federal government at the Department of Defense for 29 years until his retirement in April of 1999. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and will be dearly missed by all who loved him.
In addition to his wife Gail of 28 years, Bob is survived by 6 children, Linda Vinay of East Bridgewater, Lauren Preston and husband William of New Hampshire, Susan Doherty and husband Michael of Seattle, Michael Foley and wife Emily of Quincy, Marianne Soucy of New Hampshire, Paul Foley and wife Susan of Scituate, his sister Lynn George and husband Frank of Cumberland, RI, 12 grandchildren, his brothers and sisters in-law Marianne and Daniel Burns of Falmouth and Walter and Patricia Hackett of Mashpee. He was predeceased by his brother Richard Foley.
