Robert C. Forester, 88, of Rossville, Georgia went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, May 25, 2025. He was born on April 13, 1937 in Rock Spring, Georgia. He was a member of Wallaceville Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. Robert was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a truckdriver for Burlington Industries for many years before retiring from Shaw Industries. He enjoyed birdwatching and spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Cross Forester; parents, Henry and Mattie Forester; brother, Bert Forester; sister, Margaret Brown; and son-in-law, Jimmy Richardson.
Those left to cherish Robert's memory are his four daughters, Kishia (Leon) Harkins, Kellea (Eric) Moore, Jennifer (Allen) Stutzenberger, and Jamie Richardson; brother, Royce Forester; five grandchildren, Lauren McNabb, Jacob McNabb, Hunter Harkins, Bailey Richardson, and Brooklyn Richardson; brother-in-law, Mike (Connie) Cross; and sister-in-law, Denise (Ken) Ivey.
The family will receive friends at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory Friday, May 30, 2025 from 10:30a.m. to 12:30p.m.
A graveside service will follow at 1:00 PM at the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Robert Forester to Wallaceville Baptist Church at 2299 SR-341 Rossville, Georgia 30741..
