It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robert "Bob" Earl Freeman Sr., a great man whose family was always his top priority. Robert was a selfless and honest man who touched the lives of everyone he met with his warm spirit and generous heart.

Robert was the devoted father of his children, Robert "Robbe" Jr., and Sandra Gail Freeman. He also lovingly raised two additional children through marriage, Corey and Jeromy Ambrose, embracing them as his own and demonstrating the depth of his caring nature. Following his high school graduation, Robert proudly served his country in the United States Navy from 1958 to 1962. His dedication to service reflected the same commitment and integrity that defined his character in all aspects of life. After his service to our country, he devoted numerous years as a store manager to local grocery stores such as, Sav-way, Boles, and Marks Supermarket. He was highly favored in his retail career, which is where he became known as Bob.

Robert was an avid sports fan who especially favored the Dallas Cowboys and the Dayton Broncos. He found great joy in the simple pleasures of life, including hunting, fishing, playing bingo, and trying his luck with lottery scratch-offs. These activities brought him happiness and provided opportunities to spend time with friends and family.

At his core, Robert was a simple man with an enormous heart. He had the remarkable ability to make friends with everyone he encountered, leaving a lasting impression through his kindness and genuine nature. His legacy lives through the love he shared, the values he instilled, and the countless lives he touched.

Survived by his daughter and caregiver, Sandra Mallett and husband Jesse, son Corey Ambrose, sister Margie Perry, brother Houston Freeman Jr., and wife Carolyn. 13 grandchildren; Leah, Aaron, Dana, Kaleigh, Gage, Lexi, Dawnyette, Hayden, Dylan, Jacob, Wyatt, Chandler and Marley, 6 great-grandchildren; Aubrey, Catalina, Elijah, Adalyn, Loclyn and Bennett, countless nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Preceded in death by his parents; Houston Sr. and Maybell Freeman, 4 sisters; Rachel, Dorothy, Bobbie, and Sandra Gail and 2 sons; Robert "Robbe" Freeman Jr. and Jeromy Ambrose.
