Robert Anthony Friedewald

Robert "Bob" Anthony Friedewald, age 91, of Lake Ozark, Missouri passed away peacefully on May 9, 2025, at Arrowhead Senior Living. He was born on January 14, 1934, in St. Louis, Missouri; a son of William and Albertine (Eilers) Friedewald. He shared 65 wonderful years of marriage to Martha Phillips, on April 23, 1960. He attended and graduated Beaumont High School in St. Louis, Missouri. Bob proudly served in the Army and was stationed in Germany during that time. After his time in the service, he graduated from Saint Louis University in 1957, with a Business Degree in Commerce & Finance. While in college he was a member of the Delta Sigma Pi Pro Fraternity. Bob was employed with Edward Jones for 47 years as a Financial Advisor, A Limited Partner, A Member of the "Kitchen Cabinet" and a mile long list of accomplishments.
When Bob wasn't traveling around the world with Marty, he enjoyed boating on the Mississippi River and at the Lake of the Ozarks. While in St. Louis he was a parishioner of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Florissant, Missouri, where he was also President of the Church Men's Club and took pride in being a Boy Scout Leader and Girl's Basketball Coach. He was a current parishioner of Our Lady of the Lake. Being a member of the Elks Lodge and Con Trios Yacht Club was also one of Bob's favorite past times. Wherever Bob was you were guaranteed to see him showing off his one-of-a-kind smile or playing his handkerchief make believe trumpet. Bob is survived by wife, Martha (Marty) Friedewald; son, Robert "Bobby" Friedewald, Jr. of St. Louis, Missouri.; daughter, Linda Doza (Kevin) of St. Charles, Missouri; grandchildren, Anthony "AJ" and Andrew "Drew" Albers of St. Charles, Missouri; many nephews, nieces, great nephews, great nieces and cousins. He is also survived by his granddog Martye and his 5 grandcats. Bob was preceded by his parents, brothers, Dr. William F. Friedewald and Dr. Vincent Friedewald and their wives.
Friends will be received from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at Hedges-Scott-Millard Funeral Home Osage Beach. Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, May 17, 2025, at Hedges-Scott-Millard Funeral Home Osage Beach with Deacon Jim officiating.
