Robert Lee Fuqua

Robert Lee Fuqua, age 73, of Hendersonville, Tennessee passed away on October 15, 2024. Robert was born on May 16, 1951 in Gainesboro, Tennessee to the late James Fuqua and Rilda Lee.

Robert graduated from Hume Fogg High School.

Robert was a veteran of the United States Air Force.

Robert liked cars, hunting, and was a great craftsman who enjoyed woodworking. He also loved to travel. 

In addition to his parents, Robert is preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Fuqua; sisters, Judith Hardin, Lella Vaughn, and Penny Craddock; and brother, Jimmy Fuqua.

Robert is survived by his children, Sabrina Leonard and Charity Eden (Michael); his siblings, Ina Joe Mungo, Gary Fuqua, and Wanda Dickens (Jack); his grandchildren, Lee Fryar (Jacie), Madison McIntosh (Daniel), Brett Leonard, and Ewing Eden; and his great grandchildren, Kyle Fryar, Kayden Fryar, Kendall Fryar, Lorelei Fryar, and Grayson Fryar.

Visitation for Robert will be held on Thursday, October 17, 2024 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Hendersonville Funeral Home (353 E. Main St., Hendersonville, Tennessee 37075) and on Friday, October 18, 2024 from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm at the same location. The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation starting at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Hendersonville Funeral Home (353 E. Main St., Hendersonville, Tennessee 37075) with burial to follow in Hendersonville Memory Gardens.
