Barbara Adams Manners was born November 29, 1934 and passed January 25, 2026 at age 91.
She was preceded in death by parents, Nelson and Argie Adams, husband Joe Manners, son Kevin Norris, sisters Evelyn Becker and Dorothy Feinstein.
She is survived by son Brad (Jude) Norris and daughter Elizabeth (Travis) Chadwick, grand and great-grandchilden.
Barbara graduated Hume Fogg High School in Nashville in 1953 and rode by train to an awaiting secretarial job working for J. Edgar Hoover's FBI in Washington, DC. She later returned to Nashville and became an avid quilter creating numerous beautiful works of art. She was the Activities Director for McKendree Towers for many years until retirement. She loved providing fun and adventures for her senior residents.
Graveside services will be held for the immediate family.
