Robert M. Gaia Jr.

Robert M. Gaia, Jr. "Bob", 72, a resident of Kent Island, MD for three years and previously of Dover, PA, died on Friday, October 18 at his home. Born on August 19, 1952, in Greensburg, PA to the late Anne and Robert Gaia, Sr., Bob had a lengthy career as an electrician and business owner. He spent more than twenty-five years at Gettysburg Farm campground in Pennsylvania where he enjoyed spending time with his many friends and family. Bob was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, and enjoyed RC cars and being with his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Beth Gaia; his daughter, Katie (Joseph) Herring of Kent Island, MD; his siblings, Christine Gaia Hopper of Glen Burnie, MD, and Tim Gaia of Kent Island, MD and his grandsons, Tyler and JoJo Herring. A celebration of Bob's life will be announced in the near future.
