Bob was a phenomenal FTO and a good friend. I will miss his no nonsense conversations and perspectives. RIP Bob... may Mara and you dance forever together!

My deepest sympathy to the Gehrmann family on the loss of your beloved brother. Bob was adored by his sisters, always there to protect and support them. We neighborhood girls idolized him - so handsome but just slightly too old for us. That still didn´t stop us from singing "I Wanna Be Bobbys Girl". Oh how his family missed him when he was deployed overseas. I remember the absolute joy when he returned home and the family was whole again. When we were older, I discovered that Bob had opinions and he was not shy to share them. He could come across as gruff but we all knew he was a kind, loving softie. We would often see him driving his beloved Cadillac and of course it was always in immaculate condition. Bob was profoundly patriotic and had a deep appreciation for veterans - he always acknowledged their service and sacrifices. His relationship with his younger sisters matured as time went on. I remember Bob and Nancy going to country western clubs where he discovered his love of dancing. He and Maura were certainly a sight to behold on the dance floor. I will always remember the deep pride, love adoration and devotion of Arlene, Nancy and Patty for their brother. Through good times and bad, they remained a tight knit family. My heart aches for your loss.
