Robert "Bob" Gonterman, 73, passed away December 8, 2025 at Johnson Memorial Hospital. He was born on May 23, 1952 in Franklin, Indiana to Hascal and Barbara (Insko) Gonterman. He married Teresa (Tucker) Gonterman. She lovingly survives. Other survivors include his son, Jerrick Gonterman (Rhonda); grandchildren, Kaleb Gonterman, Chasity Gossett, Laura Johnson, and Stephanie Gossett; several great-grandchildren; siblings, Jack Gonterman, Jim Gonterman, Ruth Arthur, Silas Gonterman, Mary Bray, and Nancy Durham; and dog, Bella. He was preceded in passing by his parents, Hascal and Barbara; and siblings, Bill Gonterman, Kathy Simpson, Tracy Gonterman, and Toni Howard. Bob attended Indian Creek High School. Bob worked at Radio Cab of Greenwood for over 40 years, where he went on to become a partial owner for over 20 years. He loved watching movies and wrestling as well as listening to old music with Teresa. Bob enjoyed playing computer games. He loved his weekly visits to his sister-in-law's house to play Aggravation. He was an avid collector, going to flea markets often. Bob was a very funny person. He dedicated his life to taking care of his family. A celebration of life service will be held on Friday, December 12, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. at Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 N. Morton Street (U.S. 31) in Franklin. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until the time of service at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Robert "Bob", please visit our floral store.
