Robert D. Green, 74, of Theodosia, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 26, 2026 at his residence. He was born on May 22, 1951 in Marion, Ohio to Howard and Ruthella (Fremont) Green. Bob was raised in Granite City, IL along with his brother, Thomas. The family relocated to Granite City, IL and this is where he met his sweetheart, Alice "Sis" McKinney.

The couple was married on Dec. 1, 1969 in Granite City, IL. They were blessed with two daughters: Tracy and Kelly who were his pride and joy. Bob was a good provider for his family and worked as an aircraft machinist before his retirement.

The family enjoyed vacationing in Theodosia for several years before permanently moving there. Bob enjoyed the outdoors and hunting, fishing and golfing. The couple also liked to go treasure hunting and enjoyed being with their family and friends. Bob was a loving husband, father. grandfather and great-grandfather who will be greatly missed and long remembered by all those who knew and loved him.

Surviving are his beloved wife of over 56 years, Sis Green of Theodosia; his loving daughters: Tracy and husband Billy Knerrer of Greenville, IL and Kelly Green of Theodosia and son-in-law, Frank Vivod of Granite City, IL. He is further survived by his adoring grandchildren: Kevin (Beth) Foley, Dalton (Molly) Knerrer and great-grandchildren, Nolan and Mila Foley.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Thomas Green.

A private Celebration of Life to be held at a later date.
