Robert Guess Obituary
A 1973 graduate of Putnam County Senior High School, Bob enlisted in the United States Navy where he served our country as an ET/Electronic Tech from 1974-1977. After being honorably discharged, he moved to Mt. Juliet, TN in 1988, where he opened his own business, Guess Insurance Agency, where he served the community from 1993 until he retired in 2023.
Bob enjoyed being active and loved playing golf. His greatest accomplishment was his family. He especially loved family trips to St. George Island, Fl, family cookouts and gatherings.
Preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Loretta Guess, Sr; sister, Frankie Holloway; nephew, Shane Holloway.
He is survived by his loving wife of 35+ years, Lisa Guess; children, Trey (Lora), Casey (Audra) Campbell, and Megan (Alex) Malone; grandchildren, Kyra (Kailin) Tuck, Koen Guess, Skylar Campbell, Logan Campbell, Preston Malone, and Hutson Malone, where Bob was lovingly known as "Pappy".
Visitation will be Saturday December 6, 2025, 11:00am – 1:00pm at Sellars Funeral Home Mt. Juliet, Funeral services will follow at 1:00pm in the chapel with Dr. Hunter Hay officiating. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in honor of Bob.
