Robert (Bob) Hetrick, Died peacefully in his sleep on January 31, 2024. He was born on August 16, 1946 to parents Oscar and Louise Hetrick. Bob was married to Joyce Hetrick (nee Springmeier) for over 55 years, until her death in January 2022. Bob is survived by his daughters Sandra (Jeremy) Wolff and Julie Hetrick. He was the Proud Grandfather of Austin Wolff. He is also survived by his brother Jim Hetrick and sister Nancy Sprang. Bob was preceded in death by his parents Oscar and Louise, his brother Tom Hetrick and his sister Betty Triplett. Bob was a lifelong Ohio State Buckeye fan who swore he only ever watched Michigan play so he could watch them lose. Bob grew up playing football, basketball, and baseball. He also coached his daughter's soccer team for 6 years, and was an assistant softball coach. Bob loved reading mystery stories, going to the casino, playing golf, euchre, poker and game nights with his family. Visitation will be Sunday, February 4th 12-2pm with a Service at 1:30pm at Chas. Verheyden, Inc., 43300 Garfield, Clinton Township, 48038. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to Find a Cure for Alzheimer's or a pet rescue of your choice.
