Robert P. Hinrichs, 87, of Roscoe, IL died February 21, 2025 in River Bluff Nursing Home after a brief illness. Bob was born on December 14, 1937 the son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert and Emma (Wegner) Hinrichs. Robert married Rose Swenson in Beloit, WI on December 20, 1958, the luckiest day of his life.
Bob was a farmer most of life. Bob farmed for Edward Gummow in Rockton for decades while Ed was living and subsequently worked at Fox Valley Systems until he retired in 2001.
At retirement, Bob and Rose moved back to Roscoe to be closer to family and he worked part time for the village which he enjoyed for years.
Survivors include: daughter Cheryl (Richard Goodman) Hinrichs; son Jerome Hinrichs; daughter Carol (Robert) Hall; son Todd (Julie) Hinrichs; grandchildren Nicolette Hall, Erick Hall, Trenton Hinrichs, Katie Kemmeter-Freeman, Warner Hinrichs, Nichole Zimmerman, Taylor Hinrichs; numerous nieces and nephews. Also sister Geraldine (Dennis) Klingenmeyer and sister-in-law Norma Hinrichs, a high school friend of his wife, Rose.
Bob is predeceased by his parents, wife, brother and sister-in-law Owen and Geraldine Hinrichs, and brother Marvin Hinrichs, sisters & brothers-in-law Irene and Walter Rose and Elva and Lorenz Struck.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Cremation Rites to be Accorded.
