Robert Holmes Obituary
He was born in Oswego, NY a son of the late Floyd and Gertrude LeBeef Holmes.
Robert worked at Eriez Magnetics as a Machine Operator for 30 years until his retirement.
Robert had a great sense of humor who enjoyed golfing, bowling, watching NASCAR and especially loved spending time with his family and grandkids. He loved to have a good time and loved spending time outdoors especially walking his dog Wiser.
He was a member of the American Legion Post #773, The VFW and Elks Lodge #67.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 12 brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Wendy Kenworthy Holmes; four children, Robert W. Holmes (Poppy), Kathy Holmes Kucnick (Tony), Donald J. Holmes (Debbie) and Pauletti Holmes Kindle (Greg); Grandchildren: Stephanie Holmes Spore (Jason), Kristin Holmes Edwards (Bob), Jaimee Holmes, James Brown (Liz), Allison Holmes, Robert P. Holmes II (Danielle), Katelin Kucnick, Brianna Holmes (Ryan), Shawn Banister, Tiffany Banister, Nathan Kucnick, Dustin Kucnick, Kayla Kindle and Courtney Kindle; a sister Elizabeth Branshaw, a sister in law, Diane Berarducci; niece, Laura Morton (Bryan); nephew, Trevor Berarducci (Jess); many great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
The family would like to give a special thank you to Robert's caregivers, Tyrell, Michael, Keesha, Octavia and Shaletta and from AseraCare Hospice, Stacey Albert, Heather, Paula and Stacey for all of their excellent care and support.
Friends may call at the Burton Quinn Scott Cremation and Funeral Services, West Ridge on Sunday, January 8, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m until the time of service at 3:00 p.m. Private burial will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to AseraCare Hospice 12664 US-19, Waterford, PA 16441 or to the ANNA Shelter 1555 E. 10th Street, Erie, PA 16511.
