I had the opportunity to meet Bob while serving on the WHSSD board. He was a kind man who was very welcoming when I joined the board.
A few months into serving on the board, I found out that Bob knew my deceased father-in-law, DeVon Morse. I loved my father-in-law very much and it was comforting to always have someone to talk to who knew him. Because of this, I bonded quickly to Bob.
I enjoyed seeing Bob at our monthly meetings and felt the emptiness the last few months when he was too ill to join us. I appreciate all that Bob has done for the city of West Haven. I don't think there's a single person that has done more for the city than he has. I hope his children and grandchildren find comfort in knowing that he is finally home with his wife and family that have passed before him. Thank you for sharing him with all of us.
