Robert W. Holt
Age 85, of Middletown Twp., died December 31, 2025.
Bob was born in Philadelphia, Pa., and was raised in Springfield, Delaware County. He graduated from Springfield High School and attended University of Pennsylvania and Temple University.
After spending 15 years in management with JC Penny in New York City, Mr. Holt co-founded Aquavita Pools along with two partners Robert L. Schenk and Richard H. Greenlaw.
Bob was active in community affairs, having served as Chairman of the Golden Civil Service Commission for many years and was a Republican Committeeman in Middletown Township. He also helped found and served on the board of DCAN and established their first "buddy" assist program. Bob enjoyed traveling to Europe and the Caribbean, he spent winters in St. Petersburg Florida.
He was the son of the late William and Mildred Holt of Springfield.
Survived by his brothers Bruce of Rehoboth and William of Wilmington DE.
Relatives and Friends may call, Friday January 9, 2026 from 9:45-10:45 am in St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 136 Saxer Avenue Springfield. Mass at 11 am.
Interment Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
