Robert W. Humphries Jr.

Rob W. Humphries Jr., age 69 of Horseheads, New York passed away on Sunday, November 3, 2024 at Robert Packer Hospital. He was born on February 26, 1955 in Delhi, New York, the son of the late Robert and Lavonne (Hartman) Humphries. Rob was a graduate of Delaware Academy and Albany College of Pharmacy, graduating class of 1979. He married Diana Humphries (Reep) on June 25, 1983.
Rob had a long and successful 40 year career as a pharmacist, starting at Fay's Drugstore in 1979. He later went on to work for Eckerd Corporation and finally retired from Rite Aid in 2019.
Beside spending time with his family, Rob enjoyed everything from hunting, cutting wood, watching the Yankees, farming, and particularly his love for animals, which was shown by adopting all strays that would come to his door.
Rob is survived by his wife, Diana Humphries of Horseheads, sons: Tyler ( Jennifer) Humphries of Horseheads, NY, Adam Humphries of Corning; brother: John Thomas (Jean) Humphries of Virginia; grandchildren: Isabella, Gabriella, Garrett, Wyatt; beloved mother in law: Genevieve Reep of Painted Post.
In addition to his parents, Rob was predeceased by his father in law: Roger Reep.
Family and friends are invited to call at Flint Funeral Home, 10 Wall Street, Addison, NY on Friday, November 15, 2024 from 2:00pm-3:00pm. A memorial service will immediately follow with Pastor Vaughn VanSkiver officiating.
