Robert was a coal miner at Peabody Coal.
Robert was married for over 50 years to his beloved wife Caren. When he wasn't working, he was always finding something to do outdoors, working on trucks or cars, and listening to country and gospel music on the radio.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Caren, and a sister, Alice Hunt.
Left to cherish his memory is his sons, Nick and Adam Hunt; a grandson, Austin Hunt; and numerous other family members.
Services will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, January 10, 2025, at High Lawn Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Gethsemane Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call on the family from 12:00 PM, Friday, January 10, 2025, at High Lawn Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to Adam Hunt, PO Box 116, Glen Jean, West Virginia 25846.
